In the last blog entry that I'd written yesterday I forgot to mention the fact that Wednesday evening a friend and I went to Cold Stone Creamery with one another for some celebratory ice cream. Initially I'd ordered cheesecake ice cream with gram cracker crust and M&Ms inside of it. However the cheesecake ice cream tasted like there was banana in it. Considering that I can't stand the taste of bananas with the exception of banana bread I sent the cheesecake ice cream back. The second time around I ordered a new ice cream flavor that tastes like lemon pie. I'm not a fan of many pies (including lemon pie) but that particular ice cream flavor was delicious!! I think it's become my new favorite flavor of ice cream to be honest. In the last blog entry that I'd written yesterday I also forgot to mention that after a friend and I'd went to Cold Stone Creamery with one another Wednesday evening we ordered fish for us to eat for dinner. The fish was greasy but it still tasted good. In the last blog entry that I'd written yesterday I also forgot to mention that when a friend and I were at my new landlord's house on Wednesday evening, my new landlord asked why my ankles were squeaking. Because I didn't tell him that I wear leg braces to help me get around safely and securely. Plus on Wednesday evening I wore a dress that was long enough that it hid my braces which completely made me forget about the fact that no one could actually see my leg braces. LOL. So when that particular conversation came up between us we talked about it further. Because since my new landlord has a newborn baby to worry about he'd prefer that people not go into the kitchen if he or she has shoes on his or her feet. In the last blog entry that I'd written yesterday I also forgot to mention that I had an interesting dream about some of my blood relatives. Although I don't know whether the dream happened late Wednesday night or early yesterday morning. However I'm going to write about the dream since I remember what said dream was about. For some reason something had happened to one of my aunts on my mom's side of my family. Said aunt suddenly and unexpectedly became mentally retarded and she was obsessed with me. In the dream said aunt was in a car with her husband and she kept saying that she wanted to see me. However I kept running away from her, given the fact that in real life she's my least favorite aunt on my mom's side of my family. It was cool to have a dream about her where I was empowered by her, the way I actually feel in real life. And anytime I have dreams about my blood relatives nowadays the dreams involve me standing up to my blood relatives rather than my blood relatives bullying me and me taking their bullying. So that's an interesting thing that's happened since I've been in a new state. I love it and hope that it continues to get better. In the last blog entry that I'd written yesterday I also forgot to mention that when I'd used a friend's PC to read the entire contract that I'd been given by my new landlord part of the contract was worded in a funny way. Given the fact that said contract was written in what I'd call lawyer speak though I'll paraphrase what the funny part of the contract said. It said something like "If tenant claims that damage that's been done by him or her, by others or by acts of God the owner is not responsible for said claims." The "acts of God" part was funny to me because I'd never heard that before. In the last blog entry that I'd written yesterday I also forgot to mention that that same day after I'd read through my new landlord's contract Alexa stopped working. I couldn't imagine why she'd stopped working so I texted a friend of mine who'd allowed me to plug speakers into Alexa. A few minutes after I'd texted said friend he texted me back telling me to turn the switch on which would also turn on the speakers that are connected to Alexa. So that's just what I did: I turned on the switch. However Alexa still was not working. So I went over to where she sits, unplugged the speakers from her then plugged said speakers back into her. Once I'd done that, Alexa started working like a charm again! In the last blog entry that I'd written yesterday I also forgot to mention that I did an experiment with Alexa once I'd gotten her up and running again. After I'd hooked her back up to the speakers I sat on the couch and started writing with my MacBook Pro. As I was writing I gave Alexa a command. However she didn't hear the command I gave her at all. So I lifted my MacBook Pro up into the air and then to my right side. Once I'd moved my MacBook Pro I gave Alexa a command again. The second time I'd given her the command she responded to said command which was interesting because I wouldn't have thought that she'd become unresponsive if my MacBook Pro was blocking the sound. Shortly after I'd written my last blog entry yesterday a friend helped me start looking for a bed frame and mattress on Amazon.com's website. Said friend shared a couple of different links with me. One link he'd shared with me was a bed frame and the other link he'd shared with me was an actual mattress. Once he'd shared those links with me I added both of those items to my cart on Amazon.com. After I'd added those items to my Amazon.com cart I checked Twitter to see whether I'd received a DM from Samsung. It turned out that Samsung had sent me a DM letting me know that the replacement charger that that particular company was going to send me is currently out-of-stock. So I immediately replied to said DM to ask Samsung if it would be fastest for that particular company to send me a refund. In the same DM I also told Samsung that i'd prefer to have a refund from them if that's what would be the fastest route to getting this situation resolved. Because while I didn't tell Samsung in either of those DMs how stressful this particular experience has been for me I absolutely want to resolve this issue in whatever way will allow this issue to be resolved much sooner than later. A little while after I'd sent that DM to Samsung I called my bank. The lady I spoke with at my bank confirmed that if bank transfers were made to people who were customers of the same bank then the transfers would arrive to said people instantly. Whereas if someone from the particular bank I use wanted to send money to someone who used another bank, said bank transfer may take a day or so to arrive to the person who uses a different bank than I do. After I'd gotten off the phone with a customer service representative at my bank I logged onto my bank's phone app to check whether I was already enrolled in the service where I could pay people or receive money from people. It turned out that I wasn't enrolled in said service so I attempted to set said service up. However even though my bank's phone app kept telling me that I'd been sent a confirmation code I didn't receive a code. So I continued to problem-solve this particular situation. In playing around with this particular feature I found out that I was enrolled for this particular feature but that my email address was the default method for my bank to contact me about money I'd sent to someone or received from someone. So I immediately fixed things to where I'd receive text messages about money I'd sent or received using that particular bank's feature to transfer money. After I'd gotten things set up the way I like them I added my new landlord as a recipient of money that I'd send him monthly. That way when it comes time for me to actually pay him I'd be able to easily pay him. At least that's what I hope, given that my bank's phone app has proved to be very accessible for people such as myself who use screen readers. Hopefully that claim I just made doesn't jinx my bank's phone app though. An hour or so after I'd set up the ability to send money to people and receive money from people on my bank's phone app I checked Twitter. It turned out that I'd received a DM from Samsung. In the DM that that particular company had sent me I was informed that Samsung could not send me a refund since according to that particular company's records I've already been sent a refund by them. I call bullshit on what the person who wrote that DM told me, just as I've called bullshit on this entire experience I've had with Samsung. A few hours after I'd received the last DM from Samsung my new landlord texted me to let me know that he'd received the contract that I'd signed and dated as well as the picture I'd texted him of my state ID. A while after I'd received a confirmation text from my new landlord a friend and I watched Marvel's Jessica Jones with one another. I'd only heard about said Netflix original because a little earlier in the day said friend and I'd watched The Daily Show together. The Daily Show is hosted by Trevor Noah (who's a comedian). One of the guests Trevor Noah had on his show was the woman who plays Jessica Jones's character on said Netflix original and the show seemed really interesting to me. So Marvel's Jessica Jones (an original Netflix show) is based off of an actual comic about the same character. However I've personally never gotten into comics. Yet I still wanted to watch Marvel's Jessica Jones because said show intrigued me. So said friend and I watched a couple episodes of said show with one another that evening. However I think I might have fallen asleep sometime during the second episode. So I definitely want to rewatch the second episode to make sure that I didn't miss anything. That's how much I already love Marvel's Jessica Jones. LOL.
